About D&K Industries

D&K Industries began in 1985 with a dream, a Bridgeport mill, and some rented space in a machine shop. From these humble beginnings, Dave Goldsmith has forged D&K Industries into a modern, successful business that ranks among the best in Southern California. Dave learned the art of precision machining the old-fashioned way. At eighteen, he found himself in a machine shop, learning the skills that would serve him well in years to come. Dave taught himself to program CNC machines with a pencil and calculator and later mastered the first Gibbs CNC computer programming system. Dave’s lifelong enthusiasm for innovation has kept D&K Industries in the lead with new technology and solid growth.

By 1988, D&K Industries was on its way with two new CNC machining centers. A new CNC turning center was added the following year. The company moved to its current location in 1991 with three employees, six machines, and annual sales in excess of $300,000. 1995 brought an expansion into 3,500 square feet, more employees and additional new equipment. Years of hard work and dedication were paying off in a big way.

Now, with modern CNC machine tools, talented employees, and many loyal customers, D&K Industries is an established force in the precision machining industry with facilities certified to ISO 9001:2015 & AS9100D. “We’re proud of our growth and accomplishments over the years,” says Dave. “We’ve recently purchased our building and expanded our facility to over 4,500 square feet. Our goal is to continue our tradition of growth and exceptional customer service through strength, knowledge, and innovation.”
